1. About Rescue Fitter

Rescue Fitter ("we", "us", "the Platform") is a software dispatch technology platform and disclosed agent that connects stranded motorists ("Customers") with independent, self-employed mobile tyre fitters ("Fitters") operating in the United Kingdom.

Rescue Fitter does not directly employ, engage, or act as the principal for any Fitter. Fitters are independent third-party contractors who use the Rescue Fitter platform to receive and fulfil job enquiries. The contract for the supply of tyre fitting services is formed directly between the Customer and the Fitter. Rescue Fitter facilitates this connection and processes payment on the Fitter's behalf as a disclosed agent.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Rescue Fitter website or mobile service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, are the registered keeper or have the authority to authorise work on the vehicle, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

3. The Booking Process

When you submit a booking through our platform you agree that:

• The vehicle registration, tyre size, and breakdown location you provide are accurate and complete.
• You have confirmed your vehicle is in a safe stationary position (hard shoulder, ERA bay, driveway, car park, or similar) and is not stopped in a live traffic lane.
• You will remain at or near the vehicle location until the Fitter arrives, or you will contact the Fitter directly if you need to move.

4. Priority Dispatch Fee

To secure a Fitter and initiate dispatch, Customers pay a Priority Dispatch Fee at the time of booking. This fee is charged immediately via Stripe and is non-refundable in the following circumstances:

• The Customer provides an incorrect vehicle registration, vehicle make/model, or tyre size, causing the Fitter to source an incorrect or incompatible tyre.
• The Customer requires a locking wheel nut key to safely remove the wheel but fails to provide it to the Fitter upon arrival.
• The Customer abandons the vehicle or is no longer present at the confirmed breakdown location when the Fitter arrives without giving prior notice.
• The Customer cancels the booking after a Fitter has been dispatched and has already sourced or is en route with the tyre.
• The Customer's vehicle cannot be safely accessed at the location described.

The Priority Dispatch Fee may be refunded at our sole discretion where a Fitter cannot be found within the advertised service window and the job is cancelled by the platform (Network Unavailability).

5. Tyre Price & Final Payment

The estimated tyre price shown during booking is indicative only. The Fitter will confirm the final price for the tyre and fitting before commencing work. The final tyre price is paid directly to the Fitter on completion of the job (cash or card as agreed with the Fitter). Rescue Fitter does not collect or process the tyre and fitting fee.

6. Fitter Standards

All Fitters on the Rescue Fitter network are represented as independent, fully insured mobile tyre fitting professionals. Rescue Fitter requires Fitters to hold appropriate trade insurance as a condition of platform access. However, Rescue Fitter does not warrant the standard of work carried out by any individual Fitter and accepts no liability for defective workmanship, damaged alloy wheels, valve stems, or related issues caused by the Fitter. Any such disputes are between the Customer and the Fitter directly.

7. Customer Safety Obligations

It is the Customer's sole responsibility to ensure their vehicle is in a safe, legal, and accessible location before requesting a rescue. Rescue Fitter expressly does not provide rescue services to vehicles stopped in live traffic lanes, active carriageways, or any location where the Customer or Fitter would be exposed to moving traffic. By completing a booking, the Customer confirms compliance with this requirement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rescue Fitter's total liability to a Customer in connection with any single booking shall not exceed the Priority Dispatch Fee paid by that Customer. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss including (without limitation) loss of earnings, missed flights, accommodation costs, or vehicle damage unrelated to the tyre fitting service.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Rescue Fitter platform, including software, text, graphics, and branding, is the exclusive property of Rescue Fitter and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, scrape, or redistribute any content without written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the website.
